Aims and objectives of Asperger Technical
- To promote the awareness and understanding of Asperger syndrome amongst employers and interviewers.
- To shatter and dispel myths and misunderstandings about Asperger syndrome and people with Asperger syndrome.
- To provide support and advice to people with Asperger syndrome in employment and looking for employment.
- To provide help and advice to organisations employing or planning to employ people with Asperger syndrome.
- To create a network enabling organisations and people with Asperger to syndrome to connect with one another.
- To ensure that people with Asperger syndrome are subjected to fair interviews.
- To put an end to certain types of aptitude tests, personality profiling exercises, and similar activities that have a tendency to work against people with Asperger syndrome.
- To ensure that all organisations provide high quality support for staff with Asperger syndrome.
- To work with other Asperger syndrome, autism, and disability organisations.
