Aims and objectives of Asperger Technical

  1. To promote the awareness and understanding of Asperger syndrome amongst employers and interviewers.
  2. To shatter and dispel myths and misunderstandings about Asperger syndrome and people with Asperger syndrome.
  3. To provide support and advice to people with Asperger syndrome in employment and looking for employment.
  4. To provide help and advice to organisations employing or planning to employ people with Asperger syndrome.
  5. To create a network enabling organisations and people with Asperger to syndrome to connect with one another.
  6. To ensure that people with Asperger syndrome are subjected to fair interviews.
  7. To put an end to certain types of aptitude tests, personality profiling exercises, and similar activities that have a tendency to work against people with Asperger syndrome.
  8. To ensure that all organisations provide high quality support for staff with Asperger syndrome.
  9. To work with other Asperger syndrome, autism, and disability organisations.
