Asperger Technical was established to help highly skilled people such as scientists, engineers, and software developers, with Asperger syndrome and high functioning autism find suitable careers either in industry or government departments. Our aim is to create a channel for people with Asperger syndrome who have a high level of technical skills and qualifications, and people from the high technology industry and government departments to connect with one another.

Another service we offer is advice and information about Asperger syndrome to employers and interviewers in order to promote awareness and understanding of the condition in the workplace.

We are currently seeking partner organisations either in the high technology industry or the public sector which offer careers in science, engineering, or computing / IT, that are interested in employing people with Asperger syndrome and high functioning autism.

One of the best sources of information about Asperger syndrome is Tony Attwood's latest book which is regarded as the standard text on the subject. This book describes Asperger syndrome comprehensively in an easy to understand format, and is intended for people with no previous knowledge of psychology including parents, teachers, managers, and interviewers.
